It was super boring but that Halle Berry looked GOOD!!!! I don't know what they can do to shake up the Oscars because I was seriously bored. I also didn't care much for the red carpet fashion. I want to see old glammed up Hollywood when I watch the red carpet.
ReplyDeleteSeriously boring awards show. And Seth MacFarlane humor was a little too over-the-top for me.
Deleteoh and J. Hud and all that screaming. smh! no ma'am
ReplyDeleteWorst Oscars I have ever seen. And, that Mcfarland guy sucked. I missed a lot thought, there was a good documentary on another channel.
ReplyDeleteLol@Beyonce didn't perform.
I tossed the Beyonce dislike in the mix for laughter. Lol.
DeleteYeah the Beyounce was MOS DEF Laughter EVOKED Though... Btw Adele WON Her An Oscar for "SkyFall" Theme Song (I Actually Like THAT SONG...) And was SHOCKED THAT IT was the ONLY James Bond Song to WIN AN OSCAR Though (YUPPP...)
DeleteHalle is FINE.
ReplyDeleteBut she is crazy! I mean...REALLY crazy!
She had TWO white dudes fighting over her...I rest my case. LOL
About Halle, Don you know how I feel about her. I L O V E that woman. what 12kyle said is correct. I have a blog posting where Olivier beat the shit outta Gabriel. She FINE. The end.
ReplyDeleteLove this list.
I am laughing at these references of how fine Halle is. Yes she is. She is the most desirable female on the planet, but has constant issues. And she sure has been passed around a bit. I hope the current fellow makes her happy. I really do. I think she wants what we all want: peace and happiness.
ReplyDeleteBut doggonit, if that broad ever moved next door to me, she and I would have to have a VERY long talk. If I hear a peep out of her, or if jokers start fighting and shouting, she getting locked up. Everybody going to jail that night. That is all.
As for the Oscars, they were what they were. Pretty boring. I only saw Django and Beasts of the Southern Wild. Ain't now way I'm paying 10 bucks to see Argo, and some of the other films. I am waiting to rent those.
I thought I was the only one who thought Jennifer Hudson was screaming. I thought that chick was gonna bust a blood vessel in her neck. Goodness.
It is bad taste to make jokes about a little girl. She is a child. She won't understand the satire, or whatever it was suppose to be. And I wouldn't want to be her mother, and have to explain that to her and soothe her hurt feelings. Sigh.
Not sure what The Onion was thinking, but yeah it's unfortunate that a child had to be involved in the sick joke. I am in the process of trying to find the Wallis's film. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I had never even heard of Argo. Lol.
DeleteI Channel-Surfed so I MISSED ALOT of the Commentary and Comic-Relief Stuff... But I did see The MAJORITY of The MAJOR AWARDS being presented and The Lead Actor presentation was EXTREMELY HUMOROUS TO ME (Yuppp...) Going into the AWARDS SEASON "Lincoln" was considered a HUGE FAVORITE to win THE MOST Oscars Though but ALL OF THE LEAD ACTORS Nominees thought they had a Chance (NOT ME becuz I just knew DDL was going to win it...)
ReplyDeleteBut when Tommy Lee Jones LOST His Supporting Role Oscar to the Dude from "DJANGO" then Everybody knew the Oscars would be WIDE OPEN which probably led to Daniel Day Lewis being Nervous bout winning His THIRD OSCAR which puts him in a Truly EXCLUSIVE CLUB Indeed... And Ang Lee winning The Director Oscar and "ARGO" winning Best Picture were all apart of "Lincoln" getting SHUT OUT Outside of The DDL Oscar (MmmHmmm...)
Btw Ben Affleck won The Directors Guild Award for "ARGO" and MOST PEOPLE within the Industry believe THAT AWARD is the Greater Award as far as DIRECTING Than The Oscar Award for DIRECTING
