My Favorite Songs of 2011

Since I absolutely love music on a whole, and couldn't imagine living life without such melody, I decided to list ten of my favorite songs of this year, in no particular order. Not the best songs, but favorite songs. I'd like to offer readers the opportunity to list many of their favorites as well. To perhaps broaden each other's respective musical taste in the process.

  • Someone Like You - Adele
  • 1+1=2 - Beyonce
  • Man Down - Rihanna
  • How To Love - Lil Wayne
  • Where You At - Jennifer Hudson
  • Rolling In The Deep - Adele
  • A.D.H.D. - Kendrick Lamar
  • Hustle Hard - Ace Hood
  • Look At Me Now - Chris Brown
  • Far Away - Marsha Ambrosius

  4. I've got to get back to music. I've been reading A LOT lately. I recently downloaded Adele, Alicia Keys and Anthony Hamilton. I just need a day of music. Maybe that will be my Friday Bliss.

I will be praying for the #1 thing on your Christmas list. My baby sister and I are "single" and our new motto is, "Who needs a boyfriend whey you've got an IPad 2? It is indeed the coolest thing ever.

When, not if... but when you get one. Be sure to download Pages. It's great for word documents, PDF Files and Photo presentations. Way KOOL ;-)

    Love ya!

Moves Like Jagger- Maroon 5(Feat. Christina Aguilera)

Mr. Know It All – Kelly Clarkson

  9. I really need to step my music game up, and this comes from someone who absolutely adores quality songs and lyrics. Checking out the lists in the comments lets me know there are songs and artists which somehow escape me.

Move Like Jagger was listed twice. So I need to YouTube.

@tasha Yes. Agreed. Drake's Marvin's Room is the bomb song.

@Sunny I like the song How To Love on all levels. Lil Wayne really switched it up on that one.

@gorgeousPuddin I too liked the Ceelo Green song.

@elove I am old school to the heart as well. But some of the current artists move me in an old school way.

@FSB Thank you. I am definitely searchging for an iPad2 as we speak for a reasonable price. I will definitely remember to download Pages. Love the motto.

@Krissy I forgot all about Mary J. Blige's new release. I need to purchase this weekend.

@Daij Marsha is the truth. And this comes from someone who never listened to Floetry.

@Val Adele is the truth as well. Shockingly talented, to be so young.

  14. @DStinyAugust I can't believe Beyonce didn't make the list. Lol. Pieces of Me is an incredible song. Ace Hood dropped an anthem, didn't he?

@simplychic I too can listen to many of Adele's songs all day long. I have to believe she is The Artist of The Year. Man Down is one of Rihanna's best songs.

@Mommy+Me Isn't it something how Chris Brown made a strong comeback this year after his unfortunate episode with Rihanna. Brown released a really good album. I keep seeing Beyonce's song Party mentioned, yet I haven't heard the song.

@eLove I listened to the Maroon 5 song. It's not edgy enough for me, but I can see how someone would like the song. I asked my daughter if she liked the song and she gave me a strange look. Lol.
