ReplyDeleteThe Troy Davis anti-execution protests was subjected to a lot of what I like to call "Bandwagon Activism."
Oprah Winfrey. Oprah has seemed disingenuous at times over the years, but I believe that she would have lots of wisdom to share about becoming the exception, having survived rural poverty and physical and mental abuse, I can relate to Oprah's story a bit more.
Sure it is. Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. Experience is the best teacher and that's not cliche'.
We're all up and through the scriptures, some would say starting with Adam.
That's a great idea. Good parenting is good parenting.
Now we wait to see what land America decided to meddle with next.

There is no way I'd have Oprah in my house. No Way! I think that woman hates Black people and spent 25 years showing that hatred on her show.
I think I'd invite the President. At least I'd get to meet a President.
Trust is possible. But you have to trust yourself first before you can trust anyone else.

STRONG WOMEN WITH STRONG INFLUENCE AND IT WOULD BE A LEARNING EXPERIENCE TO GET ONE PIECE OF ADVICE ON SUCCESS, MOVING FORWARD, BEING AROUND PEOPLE MOVING IN A CERTAIN DIRECTION, ETC.

I'd invite Barack Obama. I've always wondered how he really feels about becoming POTUS, politics, growing up differently, Michelle, his family, America, Black America.
I usually trust the ones who are not to be trusted, and understand why I shouldn't have in the first place.
